January 13, 2022 (Edmonton, AB): A new initiative, Supporting Indigenous Language Revitalization (SILR) will see the University of Alberta working with, and alongside, Indigenous Nations and/or communities to provide support to educators, community leaders, and language advocates to ensure the long-term sustainability of community-led language revitalization programs and activities.
